Wahoooo back in the water

No pictures this time.

My new equipment works fine and has been successfully assembled and tested today.

As you maybe know by now, my new GoPro Hero 3+ Silver got stolen. After 2 dives, the battery was completely discharged. It would turn off as soon as I would turn it on. So I left it in the truck (out of view, but in the mesh bag lent to me) for the third dive. I shouldn't have, I know, but I did it. The plan for me was to catch some lobsters on the third dive. Lindley who had to go train some DSD's left us after two dives and left me her spear. The keys were left hanging on a hook on the side of the truck. The guys must have been watching us and waiting for us to go into the water. The door was open when Brad, one of the IDC candidates, returned to the truck. Our two mesh bags and other stuff were missing. I had to borrow slippers, short and t-shirt from people at the dive centre. I would've been in my underwears otherwise.

En Quepos, vivo con una familia. El hijo Bati, la madre y, David, un amigo de Bati. La madre no habla inglés. Está perfecto, porque puedo apprender la lengua.

Ok bon, ça ne donne pas beaucoup de sens. En tout cas je suis encore tombé sur des gens super sympas.

Ici au Costa Rica, c'est très développé comme pays. Ça m'étonne même qu'ils aient une monnaie avec autant de zéros.

Combo Money Tour

J'ai fait un tour pour visiter une plantation de café, un volcan actif (qui ne crache que des gaz) et des chutes d'eau superbes. Tout ça dans une végétation luxuriante.

San Jose, Costa Rica

San Jose, capitale du Costa Rica, se donne des allures de ville européenne. Après avoir passé quelques jours à Houston et Austin au Texas, cette ville où l'on peut naviguer à pied, remet les choses dans l'ordre.

Le dimanche est apparemment très festif à San Jose. Les places publiques sont remplies de gens qui passent, regardent et écoutent. Il y a aussi de la musique des animations et des gens qui parlent dans des mégaphones pour je ne sais quelle raison.

So when we left, we were already late. But we thought we could maybe not miss it. With all the food stands we wanted to get something to eat. From all the stands, I picked one that finally wasn't the best. Or maybe we weren't that hungry after all. Anyway, after getting there (car, shuttle and foot) we ate, and after that we had to find the entry to the stadium. But there wasn't just one, there were several. So we walked around the place quite a bit before finding one.

Mon bagage ne m'ayant pas été retourné avant que Hunter parte de Willis pour nous rejoindre à Austin, j'ai dû retourner à Willis. La compagnie United Airlines ne délivre pas des bagage à Austin si le vol est à destination de Houston. Voila pourquoi je l'ai fait livrer à Willis. Je ne savais pas non plus que British Airways commencerait un service jusqu'à Austin le 3 mars de cette année.
